I posted a topic 2 days ago and no one responded to it. so that was like "ok". I have been the same weight for the past 2.5 weeks now. i have lost 57 pounds total but this is bothering me a little and I don't know what to do to get off of this plateau. anybody out there that knows what to do or maybe just want to give me some motivation it would really be a great help.

If you are exercising your muscles weighs more than fat so maybe that is what is happening...
I sent you a friend request,, the more support the better for us...

I am always here for motivation!! Feel free to add me if you'd like.

As for the scale not moving, don't be discouraged! (At least, try not to be!) The scale will not move every day, but you are likely still losing inches. Aside from that, if you are working out you are probably gaining lots of muscle. Muscle is denser than fat, therefore, when the scale doesn't move, that doesn't mean you haven't lost fat. In fact, you probably just gained muscle!

I do weigh myself often, but I do not let the numbers I see determine how I feel about myself. You have lost 57 pounds!! The closer you get to your goal weight, the slower the weight will come off. Be patient and whenever you get discouraged, come here for support!!

Yes I definitely agree that zig zagging your calories can shake things up a bit and also changing up your excercise routine really helps. Make sure to drink plenty of water too :)

Hang in there and keep at it, even if you arent losing you are still doing good for your body, but just mix it up, try new and different exercises, maybe adjust your calories

57 lbs is awesome! Don't get discouraged. Sometimes it comes off slower than at other times. And if you're exercising more, it could be turning into muscle... that's good! Feel free to add me as a friend. I'll try to help motivate as much as I can. I'm new here, but I will do what I can. Heck, look at my picture and picture me saying, "You can do it. You ARE doing it!"

    Keep up the great work!

The only advice I can offer is try something new, your body doesn't like doing the same things all the time. Try new things like Volleyball, basketball, tennis, rock climbing, cycling, etc. I'm not sure what your norm is, but do something different. Not only will it help with the plateau, but it may get you you pumped to work out more too. It works for me.
