Good Morning Smufettes and Papa Smurf.

How are all of you today. I told myself last night when I got home I was going to take a break this morning and not workout but I had to. I got my TurboJam in yesterday so I had to try it out. I didnt even do the whole workout and I still burned 275 calories.

I came home last night from Zumba and I burned 880 calories in that hour. WHEW.... It was 8:30 and I had already eaten dinner and even then I was under my calories because I worked out that morning. So I had myself a banana split. The only really bad thing was the chocolate ice cream. IT looked like alot but that was because it was piled on top of a banana. And then I only had some cool whip with it. So it wasnt that bad and it sure felt like a great treat after what I had done.

I hope everyone is getting their weight in to our fearless leader. Come on Blue Team.

We get our pump on our well today..:flowerforyou: :tongue: :happy: :laugh: :wink: :smile: :smooched: :bigsmile: I am so happy about that. We have lived here for over 5 years now and our water pressure has sucked because we are on a spring with 5 other houses. IT will be good to be able to fill my bathtub up quickly or do a load of laundry where it doesnt take 20 minutes just to fill up the washer.

Ok enough going on and on about really nothing LOL

  • Morning Connie...i can relate to cruddy washer pressure...our well supplies three houses around here:sad: . Our shower is sad in the morning...but were use to it! Great job on turbo jam!

    I too can't wait to see the weights listed today....Today is a cardio day,run interval and a dog walk this afternoon!

    You guys ever have one of those days to were EVERTHING goes wrong? that was me yesterday...:explode: im glad today is here! I had little things happen all day that was making me so frustrated....like I went to mail off a dvd that i had sold...forgot the address at home:explode: i went to checkout a book ive had on hold forever....left my library card at home:explode: then on the way home a home owner decides to move his house and has the entire road blocked...going like 6miles an hour:explode: .....when i got home...the day continues on like that! I worked out shortly after I got home so i felt alot better:happy:

    morning everyone !

    sorry to hear about your day yesterday punka !! we all have one of them once in a while !!

    so tonight im at the gym doing all my cardio work out and weight routine,
    i'll also go take a while today, we dont have a car and i need to go in town for some shopping,
    its good to not have a car sometimes :)

    im still having a guilt trip over that mac&cheese with fries i had last night, it makes me never want to eat out again ( and my bf been sick too, i've never seen him sick before ) it really makes us not want to eat out ever again, our home clean/organic eating is really whats best for us i think
    or at the very least have a better restaurant choice ........sigh

    hooo and i cant wait to see the results !!!!!! go bluessssssssssss

  • I went to Kickboxing last night, and the one thing that got kicked was my tail.

    We did the normal kickboxing combinations combined with pushups. Then, the instructor set up a 12 station circuit in the room, and we went to work. We then ended with free weights.

    I can honestly say that it was the best workout I've had in probably 6 months.

    I came home and ravaged my kitchen. I had a GIGANTIC spinach salad with a can of tuna, parmesan cheese, an apple, a tiny piece of leftover cheesesteak, and a few bites of chicken bake. I didn't have anything sweet in my apartment so I had a few squirts of light whipped cream from the can. I then sat down and studied for the CPA exam and had two pots of tea.

    I woke up this morning feeling it in my entire body! :glasses: I think my hunger last night made me pack a jumbo sized lunch. While I just had my cereal, I am hungry AGAIN! I will have to wait until 10:30 for my trail mix.

    Hello Everyone!!!
    I got up super early this morning and did the 30 Day Shred workout. I won't be able to get any other excercise in today. I have to go to orientation/open house at my son's school tonight. And I have a lunch meeting at work today. I would normally walk at lunch and run at night. I'll just have to work twice as hard tomorrow!!
    I hope we all have submitted our weight to the leader. I can't wait to see the results.
  • Good morning from the west coast everyone. I've been pretty bad with the exercise for the last 2 days!! I skipped the gym but my excuse is I just got my puppy spayed and I can't leave her alone incase she licks open her stitches......I know excuses excuses! And it doesn't explain why I haven't done my 30 Day Shred video here at home!! I've still stayed within my lousy 1200 calories at least but really miss the extra calories exercise gets me.:grumble:

    Any how I hope everyone has a fabulous day and I'm definitely back to the gym today!

    that is so me today...I decided with confirmation from my dh that today is going to be my personal day and I am having my coke and hershey bar (what I do when I am stressed and exhausted) that I have not had since July 14th. So I am at work with my coke and hershey bar and my blanket..Wishing to go home and snuggle up in my bed....:sad:

    I don't think the weights have been posted yet....im watching for them too!

    These people have not missed a weigh in until now. I do have others that have not weighed in since the first week. If there are 2 or more weigh in's that are missed then I am removing you from our list as it is hurting our stats!!!!

    I am going to start typing up the post and hope a few straggle in while I am typing!

  • Great week everyone! I need to pick up my exercise this week if I even hope to lose anything for next weeks weigh in!!! Probably would be easier to exercise if I get of this darn website though!!:blushing:
  • All I have to say is WTG Blue Team. We did wonderful! Best week so far!

    I too need to pick up the exercise Sunibc, your not the only one. I have not lost bu .40 of a pound on this challenge. :grumble: :grumble: :grumble:

    We will do it for week 4 weigh in!

    We have some people who have lost over 10 pounds in 3 weeks. Those are fantastic #s!!!

    I am going to challenge myself until the next weigh in to amp up my exercise. If anyone else would like to join in.... if you are running 45 min on the eliptical, add 5 more. If you are walking 5 miles , add 1/2 more! If you are doing 50 situps, add 5 more!

    So if any blues are still reading today I also need to vent a little. Sorry to hear about your bad day yesterday by the way. I can't imagine how frustrated you were!

    So Tuesday night I went to a 3 mile-around lake for a little jog/walk because it has the off-leash dog park at the bottom so its a treat for my pup. I got halfway around the lake and my foot started to hurt so I walked more and jogged less. Then it hurt more. Then even more. :sad: :cry:

    I finished my walk, drove home, stepped out of the car and nearly fell down. I couldn't even stand on it! I went to the doc Wednesday morning and I guess I pulled a tendon in my arch on my right foot... Something like this happens every time I try and jog - shin splints on my right side, bottom of left knee hurting, right quad muscle/knee cap area hurting, left hip hurting.

    Well the truth is I'm a gimp. My left leg is shorter than my right and after 24 years, the imbalance is getting to my body. My doc was really cool though she referred me to PT so they can work with me on getting a lift in my running shoes and rebuilding/strengthening my off-balance body. She said that they love to work with young healthy people trying to be active more than little grandmas with walkers trying to get to the fridge and back, and that if I get help now I won't be crippled like that by the time I'm 60.

    So I guess until my PT is all going and good I'll stick to my bike riding...
    Oh, and YAY! My roommate and I are joining the Y!! I get to swim all the cold winter long!! :drinker:
