I think I am the most impatient person ever! I've been counting my calories for 3 days, and I'm obsessed with the scale... everytime I weigh myself I think, WHAT? I havent lost 10lbs yet?? lol.

I weigh myself eveyday. And my emotions are set by the scale too. Its bad. But I also find it keeps me accountable. I think about stepping on the scale in the morning. Stops me from cheating. So its not all bad.0

I hate that my weight fluctuates so much, it makes it hard to tell if anything I'm doing is working, or if its all for nothing! Thanks, everyone, and yes that pic is me currently, but I still have a belly/love handles that I would like to get rid of!0

I'd say instead of trying to lose weight.. (you look pretty skinny already) start doing some training to tone up.. those love-handles and the belly will flatten and start to disappear if you put on a little muscle..0 -
Honey, consider yourself lucky that even with ten pounds to lose, you still look as well-proportioned and overall slender as you do. You're not fat by any stretch of my imagination, but then again, I don't think superskinny is the way to be. And I second the woman who said that ten pounds on a body like yours is going to take quite a while (if you do it the healthy way, where you'll keep it off and not bounce back), so I'd try not to obsess over day-to-day progress and try to think more about the bigger picture in terms of month-to-month. Patience is essential in any weight-loss journey, however big or small.0

This is not true. adding on muscle without losing the extra fat will just cause a bigger look. You have to diet and eat healthy to lose the fat around the muscle to look "tone" :}0 -

Exactly right! I actually have a bit of a 4 pack going on and I don't find that attractive on women, so I'm actually trying to lose the fat WITHOUT gaining anymore muscle!0 -

All I was saying was.. if you tone yourself up.. you've got more muscle.. Muscle is a lot more packed in than fat so I don't know where you get the "bigger" thing from.. plus you burn more calories and your body runs more efficiently with some muscle.. I wasn't saying go take steroids and become a man..0 -
