Hi there,
Just wondering if there are any other indoor rowers amongst us? I row at home and really enjoy it once I get by bum on the seat. There is nothing like having a shower everyday when you are dripping wet from sweat lol doesn't feel quite the same stepping into it dry

I do it occasionally. Probably going to start more because it helps strengthen my back and shoulders, which helps me shoot my bow. :-)0

I'm an outdoor summer rower, but I use the concept 2 whenever I get the chance to hit the gym. It's pretty awesome if you ask me.0

Hi there,
I'm interested in getting one of there. Which model do you use, and (if you don't mind) how much would I need to pay?
Cheers

Hi Wendy, sorry for the delay in replying.
We got ours from Ebay, sometimes you can get a real bargain if you watch them regularly. Think we paid around £500 because it was pick up only and sort of out of the way which could of put people off. They usually go for £700+ .
We've got a Concept2 Model D with a PM3 monitor.
Think the latest model is a Model E with a PM4 monitor.
New they are well over £1000
Hope that helps0 -
I know this is digging up an old thread but If you look on the Forums on the Concept2 website theres a marketplace got mine from there reasonably cheaply
Concept2 ModelD with PM3 for £600
Concept 2 also do a Hire scheme at about £9 per week
Look out for the Indoor rowing comps they sell off the machines after the event sometimes at a discount
Rowing is great exercise love it, maybe we should recruit a team for the row the world thing but limit exercise to rowing machines and lod actual distance along the way ??
Best

I just bought a rowing machine!! It's not a concept2 - too pricey for me right now. It's a piston one, and I love it! I'm going to start working it in to my regular fitness schedule as a low impact cardio! I'm hoping that it will help streghten my back and improve my posture Does anyone have experience adding rowing into their workout routine? I'd love to hear about what rowing has done for your body!0
