in Chit-Chat
so some coworkers and i were discussing this on break... what do u REQUIRE of the person u are dating, trying to date, talking to, sleeping with... watever. the person of the opposite sex.. or same sex i suppose. ok ok u get my drift.

ive seen lots of posts on personality traits, and lots on physical attributes, but what do u require??
example... must have job!
-must have vehicle
-must not live with mom, or his bm and or gf and their 8 kids.
-must not do drugs.

ok theres mine... wat are urs? i was super shocked to hear what some of my coworkers said...
one said must not have hairy feet. i almost died laughing!

    BRAINS! You don't have to be a member of mesa but I've just met way too many people who are one neuron short of a synapse. I'm also done with women who have a standing que of ex-boyfriends or whatever who are now just "friends" however are more than willing to get back together after they annoy the new guy out of the picture.

    Beyond that a good personality, stable emotional build, and a firm grasp on reality are awesome. I don't argue but I do tend to have strong opinions and really don't have the patience to coddle someone every step of the way. If you ask for my opinion please be sure you actually want it. If you're overly sensitive, can't take a joke, or can't handle honest, please don't apply.

    That and she'd have to be able to deal with my line of work.

    Must be independant and not be a," mommy's girl"
    Must not be an a**hole
    I can't stand people that talk about theor past all the time, grow up and move on
    Must be my sparring partner for Tae Kwon Do and Jiu Jitsu
    Must be in shape and give a shat about her appearance
    Must not be a,"man women" (those chicks that wear jeans and t shirts and refuse anything feminine).
    I want a women that would be a good parent to my daughter
    I want as little communication as possible, we will schedule times to chat, not during my damn $54.99 UFC pay per view!
    The girl I date must likje yoga, eastern philosopy, martial arts, music, and not allow me to do my thing
    My paramore will not funk up my man cave with girlie shat, I have the home decorated in a post modern flare, leave it alone

    i read the very first line and was already like... seriously! LOL. sparring partner.. LOVE it.. lets go baby! i love jeans and teeshirts! but i can still pull off the fem quite well when needed... serious country girl here hun! yoga... HATE it...     must WANT me.. is the first thing that comes to mind. I love that my husband is constantly complimenting me, flirting with me.

    Must be employed in a stable job, or be actively working toward something reliable.
    Musn't smoke or be addicted to alcohol or drugs
    Must be emotionally and physically faithful
    Must "get" me--just have that connection where you can understand each other
    Must be fairly intelligent, and not be intimidated if I'm smarter in some areas
    Must be willing to be part of a family
    Must be able to deal with (or preferably enjoy) my neurosis
    Must be compatible in the bedroom (or out)!

    1) Smart as or smarter than me (not difficult)
    2) Funny or at least think I am funny (a little more difficult)
    3) Be attracted to me (strangely the most difficult :laugh: )
    As for race, creed, appearance, age, etc., I have been all over the board

    Doesn't seem like high standards, but I am surprised how many folks do get weeded out :tongue:
