Try looking at a few weeks of your eating habits. My cholesterol intake is high one day and non-existent the next. Overall, I'm eating below healthy levels (200 mg / day).

Limit eggs to 1 whole a couple times a week and mix with egg whites if you need more than 1 (the cholesterol is in the yolk). Fish and seafood and almonds, as well as olive oil help reduce cholesterol in the body.

Fast food and processed foods do not help and should be avoided.

I love cheese, but have to minimize it also.

FYI the 'chicken nuggets' you all keep mentioning are Morning Glory - aka vegetarian.

Speaking of vegetarian foods... have you ever tried to create your own nuggets or burgers from scratch? I have made homemade veggie burgers before. It was a Hungry Girl recipe. Hungry-girl.com She has all sorts of faux foods. Maybe even chicken nuggets, I'm not sure. But you would totally be able to cut some sodium that way.

Also, do you rinse the canned beans? rinsing them will reduce the sodium.
