for me it was that i was in denial that i actually had to eat all of my calories and some exercise calories back....i felt like i am not going to go work my *kitten* off just to come home and eat those calories back....but once i woke up from my dream world and figured it out the hard way everything has been great!!!! Also getting an HRM with a chest strap has woke me up to how many calories i am actually burning!!!!0

I was eating really less calories.0

I would have taken better measurements and before pictures. I only have a few Before's and they're not very good.
I wouldn't have been so afraid to try new things (exercises and sports). For the first 6 months all I did was walk and run, which isn't a bad thing. But then I started Zumba, kickboxing, belly dancing and now I play football. I love them all and there are more things I want to try now. I wish I would have tried them sooner.
I would have gotten some of my friends and family on the bandwagon sooner.
I would have seen the importance of clean eating. It has made such a difference in how I feel inside and out.0 -
I wish I wouldnt have let myself go so much when I was pregnant, or I would have been back in shape months ago!0
-
I would probably drink more water because that really made a difference from a few cups to 8+ now.0

I would have actually taken a before picture. I don't have one besides a few randoms from friends which you can't really tell anything from. I would have taken my measurements from the beginning also.0

I would have taken better befores... my true before picture is really bad... me and my husband at his bestriends wedding...
other than that I don't think I would change anything.0 -
Def' wished I had joined this website sooner....I tried this weight-loss thing on my own...& I was okay....but thru this site I find myself more accountable & some of the peeps here have been very helpful & inspirational ...I also wished I hadn't let my self go...& gained as much weight as I did...because I would've been at my ideal weight sooner...but you live & you learn....so now I'm on the right track!0

I would have started strength training at the beginning and made sure I was getting plenty of protein. I probably would have stopped my cardio sooner as well.0
-
I would have taken before photos. I have some of me at parties and pics like that, but I would like to have front, back & side shots of me at my heaviest...would make it easier to compare0
-
I'm still working on it, but cleaner eating!!0

would of started 10 years earlier.0
-
I would have forced myself to stretch more often.0

I would have accepted friend requests in the first four months or so I was on this website.. The support has really motivated me to do well. Don't know what I'd do without ya'll.

i would have started about 15 years ago. i would aim for more consistency0
-
i would change the fact that i did not take "before" pics.....0
-
That I did not weigh until the 3rd week and didn't tak a before pic until I lost 40 pounds lol0

I would have made SURE to take a before picture and measurements. Being as heavy as I was, I made sure I was always behind the camera rather than in front of it and the result is that I have very few pictures that accurately depict my success.
I also have NO clue how many inches I've lost and I would LOVE to know what those numbers are.
I also would have determinde my pre-weight loss body fat %, which I didn't do ... so while I know it's better and now in the normal range, I don't know where I started0 -
I would have taken better "before" photos and I would have exercised more.0
-
Would have takem a before picture. I have a few, but not a good posed, whole body pic b/c I was so fat, I refused to have my pic taken unless I didnt know it was being done. And I would have done measurements too.0
-
I regret not taking measurements. I know I have lost a lot of inches, but I have no idea how many. None of my belts fit me anymore. I had to put a new hole in one last week. I need to wear a belt, because my pants won't stay up anymore without one.
Also, the first few weeks I definitely could have been pushing myself harder with exercise. It was still really cole here in NY, so I was not as motivated to get out and walk or ride my bike.
Yep. Those are my 2.
