WAY OT - Need advice from scrapbookers/creatives/humourists

So... I am going to a bachelorette party weekend in which the organizers would like everyone to provide 2 scrapbooking pages. One with pictures of you and the bride, the other documenting your relationship with the bride or a memory, or a letter to her, or marriage advice, etc.

I want to do this about as much as I would like to walk on a bed of nails barefoot and covered in fire ants. I don't scrapbook.

But I love the bride and I love the organizers of this shin-dig, so I am going to try to do what I can.

I am well adept at photoshop - so my first thought is to put our heads on pictures of people who are in exotic locations we've never been for the picture page. But I lack a point for this...

For the other page - I thought maybe just humorous marriage advice? For instance "Don't be surprised when your husband can toss his bottle cap into the garbage from across the living room, but for some reason will miss the toilet when standing directly over it."

I'd love any advice/suggestions from anyone on this! I need help...

Thanks!

You could always do digital scrapbooking through photoshop and then just print them out. Your pages will be unqiuely you and the bride will always remember them. Not in a bad way!!

I think your idea is a great one! You could always do a photoshop story board of the way you guys became friends??

OR you could do a comic strip. The possibilities are endless when you get started. Maybe give us some more background on you and the bride?

If you have known the bride for a while and have a few pictures from your friendship together, just paste them onto some construction paper or something, and you can buy scrapbooking letter, stickers and a bunch of other stuff for cheap at Walmart. You could also do it all from the computer since you know your way around Photoshop. There is also a website:

    http://www.faceinhole.com/

You can insert your face onto pretty much anyone's body. The bride-to-be could be on the red carpet with Tom Cruise. If you know any of her favourite celebrities that might be funny. Aside from that, to be creative (this will take time though), you could write a short paragraph or something of how the two of you met, but you can do it by cutting fancy letters from magazines. I love scrapbooking and this is what I do sometimes but it is very time-consuming. Since this project really isn't up your alley the link I gave you and the photoshop might be more your style.

I think the photoshop thing is awesome - just do a collage of pic.s and stick little standard graphic art palm trees or casino chips or whatever stuff was around in the places you went around/slightly over some of the pic.s. There may even be a template for this sort of thing out there.

For the second one - you know the bride! What would she want? I love letters, so I'm partial to that - just write whatever you feel about your friendship, or a particular memory, and stick it on a piece of scrapbooking paper (you can get it in any color/pattern ever at most art/craft stores) - no need to make this one fancy at all if you have a nice letter or quotes or whatever. :) Just stick a piece of paper on another piece of paper and voila - scrapbooking lol

I'm sure if she knows you and that you hate scrapbooking she'll appreciate anything you do.
