It's a beautiful day in my neighborhood. Makes me wanna blast some music. And got me thinking...

What are some of your favorite 1-hit wonders from the 90's?

Lol one of mine was I Touch Myself by the Divinyls

Couldn't resist!

Remember, you should love yourself, even if no one else does

I hate to be a critic, but "Bittersweet Symphony" was by The Verve, not The Verve Pipe. The Verve Pipe were one-hit wonders themselves - "The Freshman" was their only Top Ten single.

Some of my favorites are Deee-Lite (feat. Bootsy Collins), "Grove Is in the Heart;" Chris Isaac, "Wicked Game;" Digable Planets, "Rebirth of Slick (Cool Like Dat);" Edwin Collins, "A Girl Like You;" and Deep Blue Something, "Breakfast at Tiffany's;"

I don't mind being a critic, but Bittersweet Symphony was only half by the Verve anyways. The other half was lifted from an Andrew Loog Oldham symphonic interpretation of the Rolling Stones' "The Last Time."

My favorite story is when the Stones sued the Verve and it went to mediation. Keith and Mick agreed they should split the proceeds of the song 50-50. Of course, they meant "50% for Keith" and "50% for Mick." How much would it suck to write a song (and one that is fairly popular) and never make a penny off of it?
