Do you belong to a Runner's Club?

Hey everyone,my gym membership expired a few days ago and I am thinking about joining my city's Track/Runner's Club. I was wondering if anyone belongs to one or experienced one :) I'm up for the challenge...just give me a month to get ready before I run with others :D

    I'm in a running club in my city. We meet every Thursday at an Irish pub and run a 5k. After your 6th run, you get up on the bar to tell an Irish joke and earn your club shirt. Last week we set the record with 459 people running. It's really fun and a great way to meet people while getting exercise.

    i just joined a free on w/my ymca membership... starts next week. Hoping the group gets me motivated to push myself...

    yea my Y mem expired :( but I'm lookn at joing the Runners club here so I could socialize alot and exercise :D Not saying you couldn't do that at a gym...idk I'm weird lolllllll
