Has anyone tried any of the recipe ideas on the Dr. Oz show?
I just tried Decadent Chocolate Fix. Recipe courtesy of Kate Geagan, MS, RD
http://www.doctoroz.com/videos/decadent-chocolate-fix
Which is dates, avocado, and cocoa in a blender.
Dates are a food I never would have eaten because of the way they look. I discovered when making this that they have pits!!! I hope I didn't permanently damage my Cuisinart food processor.
This recipe actually tastes good. Just cut up and take the pits out of your dates!

What kind of cocoa? Like the unsweetened baking kind?
This sounds interesting for sure!0 -
Yes. Unsweetened Ghirardelli. Oops just realized I accidently used the sweetened chocolate hazelnut hot cocoa mix when I reached for the package to check the spelling of Ghirardelli.0
