NSV!

I am particularly proud of this one because it is essentially a 2-in-1 NSV.

My husband and I were shopping for clothes the other day (he needed new jeans and I wanted to find an outfit for our first anniversary trip to Catalina Island). I thought a dress would be nice and picked out a few to try on; when I walked by a few floor-length summer dresses, I scoffed at them on my way to the fitting room (I had never tried one on, yet assumed they would make me look like I was either pregnant or wearing a mumu) but stopped in my tracks as I noticed one of them was a particularly pretty color of blue. I grabbed one to try on (NSV part one! Trying something out of my comfort zone).

When I finally tried it on, before I even looked in the mirror, I was in love. It was probably the most comfortable dress I had ever worn. Then, looking in the mirror, it was so flattering -- my waist looks narrow and I felt like I looked taller (I'm already 5'8"). Stepping out of the fitting room with a huge smile on my face, my husband said, "We'll take it" before even asking how much it cost! (NSV part 2!)
