Ok so today was my week 3 weigh in. I started at 128lb got down to 125lb, Got on the scale today and I was 131lb three more pounds then when I started! I know that I didn't get as much exercise this week and didn't drink as much water but 6 pounds in one week?? Really?? I'm quite depressed and fell like what's the point when I'm GAINING weight...It's not like I'm going to stop it just sucks that after this hard work (Even know I'm FAR from being on a heathly diet but I'm trying!) I end up gaining more weight then when I started...

It's very likely it's water weight. Could be any number of things; menses, weighing at different times of the day, having a full bowel???? I know it's kinda gross, but any could be. Keep ur chin up, and I would recommend some good exercise to boost you.0

Agreed. Are you weighing yourself in the morning, naked. Are you pooping regularly? I know its a silly question but it makes a huge difference for sure.0

Take a deep breath.
It is likely water retention. Have you been tracking your food? How is your sodium? Not drinking enough water is enough to add water weight -- drink more water to help flush it out.
Are you eating enough? You don't want to cut your calories TOO far down or you won't lose weight either.0 -
I find that I gain if I stay w/in calories, but eat a lot of processed food (like Lean Cuisine lunches, etc). If I eat food that I prepare, I tend to lose easier. I think it must have to do with sodium and other additives. Hope that helps!0

I'm going to guess pms. I searched on the forum posts and found that lots of gals gain between 3 & 7 pounds - yikes!
Are you sure you're eating enough? Lots of people don't lose if they aren't eating enough calories.0 -
Lots of things could contribute to the 6 lbs. Most of them point to water weight. Is it close to your TOM? Did you intake a ton of sodium?
Don't worry it will come off, up your water intake, lower your sodium.0 -
Same thing happened to me when I 1st started dont get discouraged... it will drop off soon and you will see results. I have lost nearly 18lbs since starting with a few set backs... you can do it if you stick to it!!0

I have DEFINITELY been in your shoes before. I have been dealing with a plateau for like a year now and I'm trying EVERYTHING in the world to boost my body to get out of it. But since you're only one week 3--I would DEF encourage more exercise and drinking more water and watching your diet. If you fill up your plate with veggies that'll provide the fiber you need to push things out!0

Well all I can say is that your most likely at your goal weight and that your goal weight is what your body is going to be comfortable at and can maintain that weight with a difference of 10lbs in either direction. IMO which I don't know you or your body much but I would focus on keeping that weight at 125 to 135 lbs and worry about the weight when it goes past 135lbs.
Just keep working on keeping the weight down and you won't have a problem.0 -
Same here, i went from 122 to 127 and didn't understand why, until i started having cramps the next day, i felt like giving up also, but i knew within the next week i would be right back down, keep ur head up0

Probs water weight.
I put on 1kg overnight and dropped it the next day.
Lower your sodium, Drink heaps of water about 4 Litres and Exercise heaps and sweat out all that excess liquid.
You should be able to drop that 6lb quickly.0 -
Once a month I experience a 3-4 pound weight gain that comes right off. It's usually about two weeks in between my TOM and it comes right off so it's probably just water weight.0
