Changing Profile Settings Daily to Correspond With Daily Act

I am a child care teacher and I'm on my feet a lot, so I have my settings at "lightly active". Now on non-work days I am definitely sedentary. Should I change my settings to "sedentary" on those days? I can get a workout in, but I'm not on my feet 5-7 hours a day like work.
What do you think?
Thanks!

What has it been set at since you joined back in January? Is it working? If not, change it to sedentary on non-work days. Try that for 4 weeks and reassess.

You should change it to sedentary. Exercises are separate.

I've always had it set at Lightly Active...I was just a lazy lump and wasn't to diligent at weight loss 'til May.

Except for one thing: If you change it, alllllll your past entries also change to be in synch with your new settings.

Keep your setting at the correct level for your routine daily activity. Add your additional exercies, that is the way it is intended to be used.

In other words, you can' tjust set it for "Sedentary" on M-W-F, and "Lightly Active" on Thur-Sat-Sun. You have to pick one and stick with it for all the entries till your general lifestyle changes. Like it has been said, exercise is added separately.

Read the "guide to calorie deficits" link in my signature. I think it will help you. Good luck on your journey.

I would keep it set at whatever you are the most. Switching it back and forth will make your progress harder to track.
