Wii calories

Hi, is been using the Wii free step programme but have noticed a big difference between the number of calories it's telling me I've burned and what other people are posting. Anyone have any thoughts or advice? Gem

    I do the Wii FS, too and have seen the same.

    Because I am trying to be conservative with my numbers, I use the Wii numbers - as opposed to my HRM. Ya. I know the HRM is probably more accurate, but...

    calories burnt also depend on current weight, I think. I recommend a pedometer or heart rate monitor.
