Treadmill recommendations

I want to buy a treadmill, but am overwhelmed with the choices. I checked out the consumer reports report on them, which is helpful, but although the Sole 77 is in my price range and well rated, none of the stores around here seem to have one. (I really don't want to buy one without having walked on it). I went to a local fitness store and none of the ones they had were in the consumer reports article. I did find one I liked the feel of, but can't find any feedback for it online, e.g. Amazon, Epinions, etc.

I'm hoping the people here at MFP will have some experiences and opinions they want to share

Thanks!

I am a long time subscriber to Consumer Reports and all I can say is...they don't know everything. They test a very limited number of models compared to how many models actually exist. This goes for any type of product. When I look at reviews online (Amazon, CNET, etc.) from people who actually purchased the product recommended by CR, the differences are amazing! You will see the same comments in CR's own community forum on their website. CR recommends product X and many people on CR's website forum will say they purchased the product and it's a piece of crap.

Best advice is to definitely try the treadmill out first. Find one that "feels" good to you and buy it.
