Hi MFP's!!
Anyone heard of the drink "Aspire"?
Its a Calorie burning drink.... I hear you say "What? NO WAY!" but a small study showed it can burn over 200kcals per can.
http://aspiredrink.co.uk/
Now, lovely Sunshine (one of my Fitnesspals) suggested we run a little experiment... drink up to 4 cans of aspire everyday (maybe one after every meal) for a week - See if it aids our weight loss goals! That could be up to 800kcals a day burnt!
Now we'd have to run a two week experiment:
- Record weight & measurements before
Week 1: eat set meals/do set exercise each day - weigh in/take measurements
Week 2: eat exact same meals/exact same exercise each day - weigh in/take measurements
See what the weight loss difference is!!
Now this isn't a scientific experiment & we can't base any dissertations on it.... but if enough of us can participate and ALL make sure we do the same meals/exercise for two weeks... we could roughly work out if aspire has aided us at all!!
anyone up for it?
The cans are £1.69 a can, taste "ok" (they have ginger in them which I HATE but they didnt taste so bad)
We'd need:
1 group drinking 4 a day
1 Group drinking 2 a day
Let me know your thoughts guys!

I'm going to do it no matter if other people are too.... theres no harm in using natural products to aid us!!0 -

Let me go through some figures, and in every case I will err on the side of Aspire.
Look at your BMR. An average woman might be around 1600 (that is a low figure because the Aspire experiment included men)
If you divide that by 24, you get a calorie burn per hour of 67 calories per hour or GUESS WHAT? 200 calories over three hours (again that is a low figure because you normally burn more calories while awake, even when you're not exercising. Even sitting up in a chair burns more than lying down.
Sorry, but don't waste your money.0 -
Put me in your 2 a day group (lunch & dinner) - Getting online to purchase now!! x0
