Okay so I am sure you're wondering what the last day first day thing is. SOOOOOO............
It is Day 3 of 3 for me at work - aka my FRIDAYYYY woohoooo (yes I know its Sunday haha) YAYYY!! So only 10 more hours to go then im off for 2 days then back for 2 and off for 3 weekend hurry up!!! :drinker:
First day--
I know that I have been on this site for like 6 days now, and that I have already done a weigh in....BUT... because I haven't really gone 100% by it like I should (and I follow the Weight Watchers plan because it helps with keeping my diabetes low - but try to also follow calories), I officially re-started today. I figured it was the beginning of a new week, sooo its a whole new day and the OFFICIAL start of a whole new lifestyle. Wish me luck!! And prepare for lots of blogs from me because I am going to need all the help, support, and motivation I can get.
Being this has always been a struggle for me it is very easy for me to start full fledge but always venture away from doing whats right and healthy for me and fall back to my old ways. I know in my heart and in my head I am ready for a change. I am ready to prove everyone wrong who always thought that I wouldn't be able to do it on my own. I am ready to drop all of this weight and make everyone who treated me wrong, took advantage of me because I was big, or who always wanted to be only friends bc I wasn't their type. No - they never said that; but, it went like this .... Me: Would you want to know if a friend was interestd in you? THEM: Of course I would! ME: Okay then, (name) I like you.. I have been intersted for a while. THEM: Well, I'm not really looking for a girlfriend right now OR Im not the type of guy you need --- then w/in the next week you see where they have met someone they are interested in OR they come to me to go talk to a co-worker for them and put a good word in for them. With that being said - I am ready to lose my weight, get in shape, get toned - and show everyone who couldn't be honest of why they werent interested what they lost out on. Yes, that may be mean and spiteful, but if thats the meanest thing I do then I don't think its so bad. I mean, I am still friends with them I never let that change, but I never forget.

it doesn't sound mean or spiteful at all i think ur just being honest. sure, i like to say i'm getting healthy for ME, but my ex dumped me cuz i was heavy (yes, he told me that was the reason) and then started dating the most evil girl on earth, but hey, at least she was skinny, right? now he's misserable, and i'm gonna go rub it in his face when i reach my goal and find someone else who's hotter than him LOL
ok, maybe this is just what i THINK about when i feel like eating badly or sitting on my butt all day, and i might not actually DO it. but it's fun to think about it lol0 -
I don't think it's a mean thing at all! I get so sick of men who only want a woman to look a certain way and are not interested in who they are. Worse are the really ugly ones who seem to need to tell you in the nastiest way possible when you have done nothing to suggest you are remotely interested in them that they are not interested in you because you are fat! Well that's a relief I always think because I might be fat but I'm not desperate.0

Proudmom and Newkell - thank you so much!!!
Craft - i love love LOVE that we have the same thought process!!! haha. I can't wait to get to my goal and say to them...THIS ...is what you missed out on!
Thibaut -- I have actually said that to someone before and it felt good. I hear all the time that the southern guys are the sweetest (im from south carolina) and they don't care about looks and all that...but they do maybe not all but they do, and they arent as sweet as people think or as theyd like to believe.0
