Pasta Slim vs. Miracle Noodle

I am looking for an alternative to whole wheat pasta. I tried Gluten free pastas, which were good, but I am now looking for something low on calories and sodium.
I recently came across information about Pasta Slim and Miracle Noodle and have read extensive reviews online. However, I am really torn on which product to try. I would like something with a consistency/ texture that is chewy-- not too crunchy or too mushy.
Any suggestions or feedback on these products?

I just recently tried the Miracle Noodles. While the consistency is definitely not like pasta (not opaque, slightly more chewy), and probably more attuned to the addition in oriental noodle recipes or soups, I tried it with homemade meat sauce (350 cal) mixed with 1.5 oz of grated parmesan (160 cal)... with no calories in the noodles, a nice meal around 500 calories. I followed the directions for prep exactly, and the noodles themselves were almost taste free, picking up the surrounding sauce flavors easily.... slightly chewy and satisfying. Interesting, and I think I am going to continue working with these in recipes.
I also bought some soy based shirataki noodles at a local store, and am going to try them. Shirataki noodles do have some calories in them, but significantly less than flour based pasta.... not sure about the "pasta slim"....0 -

Never heard of that. Is that a website? Or another product?0 -

Thank you for the reply. So it seems like its more like an oriental noodle as opposed to a "pasta" noodle. Sounds like it would be perfect in stir-fry dishes and the like. Cool-- I will def check it out!0
