Anyone else into hula hooping or hoop dancing? If so, friend me! I've been totally addicted to it for about a year and a half and love to meet other hoopers!

I tried it and was very discouraged with the amount of room I have to hoop in. Plus I can't afford to get another hoop and mine sucks! I REALLY want to do it again though. Maybe you will inspire me to go back! I shall friend you, Hoop Friend!0

Thanks!! I get discouraged in the winter because I have a tiny living room, but I found a hoop teacher who teaches at a local gym. In the summer I hoop in my yard. I've also met several hoopers in my area now and we have hoop jams in the park every Saturday. It's AWESOME!0 -

Sure it counts, but it's more fun with a real hoop! lol0 -

I'm trying to get used to doing more core hooping again. I broke my finger several weeks ago and had to have pins put in it. Kinda' put a stop to my hooping for a while :-( I got the pins out a few days ago, but I still have to be careful not to whack it with the hoop until it's completely healed. If you're learning tricks, you probably know how hard it is not to whack yourself with the hoop!0 -

There are LOADS of hooping videos on youtube nowdays if you want to get started for free...well, except for buying or making a hoop, of course. I have the Hoopnotica dvd, but haven't ever used it because I just don't have room to hoop indoors. I've *heard* it's a good starter dvd set. lol0 -

i have a pretty small apartment, too, but it's big enough (or at least stuff isn't totally in the way) to do just core hooping, maybe a little turning or spinning, but definitely no major tricks. i just push everything out of the middle and hope for the best0 -
if anyone is in providence, i would love to meet up at a park to hoop with other people. i have a travel hoop.0
