P90X Classic vs. Lean

Hey everyone,
After falling off the weight loss bandwagon for a few months now, I'm back and ready to give it another whirl. I'm the type of person that can't exercise and diet for months without seeing any results (the reason I fell off the bandwagon in the first place,) so I've decided to pick up P90X.
I've heard it's a killer, but if you stick to it, you see significant results by the end of the cycle. Exactly what I need -- even if I don't see results in the first phase, if I know for sure that I'm going to see them by a set date, I can keep my motivation up.
Here's my question:
I'm 17, 5'8", and 170lbs (best guess without a scale.) My "goal weight" is around 135 -- goal weight is in parentheses because I know you gain a lot of muscle doing p90x. I'd be fine at 150lbs if I looked like I had a 135lb body, lol. Anyways, with as much as I need to lose, should I do Classic or Lean?
I've heard that Classic is a good workout for those who are already in decent shape, while Lean is better for those who want to lose weight. However, I've also heard that Lean isn't as hard of a work out, and unless you need to lose 50lbs+, stick with Classic and you'll get better results. I'm not even considering Doubles, because I'm pretty sure it would kill someone that's as much of a couch potato as I am... lol.
Thanks everybody, and I look forward to your responses! (:

I become a P90X LEAN graduate this comin' Saturday on June 4th.
I have lost 20 lbs with P90X LEAN...It's doable - You need to EAT properly and workout 6 times a week.
Do you best & forget the rest.
Best wishes & have fun!
