So my gym is closing for about a week and I am going to have to drive about 30 mins out of the way to go to another gym. With gas prices like they are and a one year old to have to take to a sitters, I just don't think I am going to work out next week. I am so mad! My gym is moving from a temp location to their new location... which is in the same shopping complex. What I am wondering is why it is going to take a week and a half to get the equipment moved. anyways... just wanted to vent. I can't wait to see the new gym but I hate to wait!

Can you get some runs, walks or bike rides in around your neighborhood?

It's only a week and a half and the weather is still nice. Maybe it would be a good time to try some different things outside. See if you can set up a bike ride or hike with a friend. Do you play tennis, swimming, golf, basketball? Would you like to try? Think of this as a mini vacation from your normal exercise routine and come up with something new and different to try. Who knows maybe this will give you some new ways to enjoy your new active self.

That really sucks. I agree with Shannon, can you do stuff around your neighborhood to keep you busy until your gym is complete?

    I feel your pain!

Can you see if they'll hire you to move the equipment? That'd be a heck of a workout!
