Hi everyone hope you are all well!
So, I just thought I'd see if anyone else has this same problem as I do...
Here's the thing, I have IBS and I cant eat onion or bread, I can eat things with wheat flour in such as a pizza, thin crust *rolls eyes* and the occasional quiche or pie crust (home made without onion of course). I can eat bread rarely but suffer the consequences the next day, or I can go through a phase where I can eat it regularly, but I pile on the pounds and then start to feel rough after a while, then suffer the agony of the IBS returning, so I just don't bother now unless its a one off garlic bread in pizza hut or something (that's a killer its my fav lol)
But almost everything in the stores contains onions, or onion powder. I can't eat it at all, not even once without feeling dead poorly. This allergy also extends to leeks, and chives, anything onion related actually, apart from garlic in small quantities. A high amount of regular every day meals contains onion as well, as do stocks, soups, sauces, you name it!
So the reason why I tend to eat the same things is because those are the few things I can eat, and yeah, I am bad at eating vegetables and fruits but I take supplements too.
I don't eat alot of variety, or alot in general, i think my main problem as I have begun to find out after watching my food diary is that I was snacking too much on "crap" in between meals, you know, biscuits, crisps etc.
So I've cut out most and chosen a couple of things that I would like to eat, and have put them into moderation, I'm using go ahead brand for biscuits and lindt chocolate for my chocolate fix!
Today I'm going to go and look for some new foods that I can try, to break the cycle of eating the same lunches every day, maybe some rice or something I don't know!
Does anyone else with this kind of digestive problem have any recipes that they use without wheat or onions???
Have a great day to all!

Have you tried any of the gluten free stuff that they sell in the supermarkets these day? There seems to be quite a variety available ....0

Yes, I have the bread, that's good, but a lot of the sauces and stuff contain onions
Most things have onion or onion powders for flavouring...it's amazing the amount of stuff they put it in lol!0
