New and Feeling Highly Optimistic

Hello All! I am new to fitnesspal and the concept of diet and exercise in general to be honest! Before my babies I was just naturally thin. I ate what I wanted when I wanted and there were no repercussions. As I am getting older, my body clearly does not agree with such behavior. 93lbs, that is what I have to lose. This number seems so big that it feels that it maybe unattainable. But, I am an eternal optimist. If you can dream it, you can do it! (Walt Disney) I am looking forward to this journey and to meeting new people in the same boat as myself. :)

definitely in the same boat and believing just like you! I have a few medical issues that don't give me much of a break but I refuse to give up! Best of luck to you in your endeavor!

You can do it. I went from a size 16 down to a size 5 and this website has been the key to my success. Feel free to add me. Happy Memorial Day!

Same number I had to lose when I started in March! I thought the same, such a huge mountain to climb but I'm 31lbs down and going strong.

Split it in to mini goals, means you get to celebrate more and they're always less than 10 (or whatever you chose) lbs away!!
  • I'm new too! Just to say good luck with it all and feel free to add me!

Thank you all for the warm welcome and the good advice I have gotten already! :)
@ choves81 too bad that naturally thin thing was short lived! Now I am going to have to work by big ol' fanny off the hard way ;)
