So.. before dieting i felt like crap! i always had these weird painful chest pains and a hard time breathing because of my weight!!! i was prone to more headaches, as well as migraines! i ate just to eat! i was seldomly bored with my life, and thought that eating would make me happy.. My skin was not as soft as it should be, and parts of my body were a little puffier than others... i was dizzy and nautious sometimes..
Now!!! tomorrow being 2 weeks of cardio work out and dieting.. i can finally breath better.. i dont feel like there is a huge obstacle in my chest putting pressure making it harder to breathe... my skinn is ultra smooth sooo smooth, my hair is shinner and healthier as well......... haven't gotten a headache for these past two weeks (knock on wood).. i am starting to like looking in the mirror and seeing small changes occuring slowly, and wanting to look good... foods such as chocolate and chips dont call for me no more.. now i crave for watermelon and salad!!
Just 2 weeks but i find that i see many changes!:)
any other people see or feel the same way ?

Before I made a lifestyle change I was tired all the time, bloated, irritable and always had heartburn. Now I have energy, I'm not bloated all my jeans are too big, no heart burn and I've just realized I have a collar bone lol.0

Always tired, couldn't concentrate, and heartburn to the point the acids would come up into my throat and choke me. It was the most horrible I've ever felt. Now, I'm up every morning early, can focus more, and haven't had the heartburn or choked since losing 10 lbs. Not to mention I don't get winded at a flight of stairs.0

Awesome changes youre seeing in only a few weeks!
I had chest heaviness and medical anxiety all the time when I was fat, it was miserable. Now that I'm not fat anymore all that is gone, its amazing. I also noticed I like the way I look without make up more, its not a skin issue (I always took care of my skin super well and obsessively even as a fatty) but I think my bone structure pops more and it makes my face look better.0 -
Before making the change to a healthier lifestyle (not a diet, mind you, but getting back to exercising and eating healthier) I was EXHAUSTED. I was ready for bed by 5:00 pm every night. I also felt yucky in my clothes, and tired walking to the playground with my kids.
Now I've got enough energy to make it to my kids' bedtime.... I also feel better in my clothes. I've dropped two to three dress sizes, and I feel GREAT. Walking to the playground isn't a bid deal anymore. And I'm not craving sweets as much as I was.0 -
interesting i thought i was the only one with the whole chest pains and stuff ... always thought i was about to die because it hurt sooo much!~!! so relieved now!!!!
and i cant wait to see my collar bone!0 -
Before I started eating better, and excercising, I was constantly tired, and had severe digestive issues. Most of those things have gone away, and I just feel better in general.0
-
I hadn't thought about it but for the past 3 years I have taken indigestion tablets practically every night - I started this on Thursday and stopped the pills on Friday. Haven't needed them since.
I also haven't had my 3pm headache but since I started drinking water instead of Cola I feel thirsty. Really thirsty. But I feel less bloated already!!
I feel happy at the moment to the point of excitedly jumping up and down (this might help lol) because I feel like a switch has been flipped and a big change is coming. I don't feel like its a drawn out nuisance, I feel like I am ready and willing to step up and grab the chance of the old me with everything I have.
I fear I may turn into a bit a salad bore and I can feel myself becoming obsessive about my food diary but thats fine by me!
Bring it on.0 -
good for u keep it up:) ... the only thing i've noticed is that everymorning my stomach always hurts after breakfast0

Wow, I can totally relate to so much others said! Yes, finally found my collar bone...and a HIP bone! LOL
I was exhausted from walking up one fight of stairs and actually moved out of my townhome so I didn't have to walk up and down the stairs all the time. I kept tums beside my bed due to constant indigestion! I was on tons of medications for my lupus and have since stopped almost all of them. Some I'll have to talk even being thinner which lupus has nothing to do with weight. But I certainly notice a difference in how my joints feel compared to being more overweight.0 -
wow gigipaula u have lost a lot of weight!! how long did it take u, as i am approx how much you used to weigh in the beg...0

I was bloated, ate antacids like candy, and was having worrying chest pains every day. It's only been six weeks, but I'm no longer exhausted all the time, my skin looks so much better, and I have so much more energy. I feel happier, haven't had any headaches, and am not having chest pains anymore.
If I feel this much better after 12 pounds in 6 weeks, I can't wait to see how I feel after 6 months!0 -
I couldn't make it up a flight of stairs without being out of breath. Before starting my healthy lifestyle, I felt OK (or thought I did). Looking back, I was constantly tired. Now... I can "bound" up the stairs without losing breath, can keep up with my eight year old son, and feel spectacular!0

Thanks!! I actually started July 2009 but I wasn't doing major changes and only lost about 20# over 10 months. Finally, June 2010 I decided to dig in hard and do it right and counted my calories faithfully!! Lost the remaining 52# since then, June 2010.
Best of luck to you!!!!!0 -
