I'm so jealous!!
Manda and my Mom went to see Lynard Skynard tonight!!!
I had to work and couldn't get off, so Manda took my mom (they are like best friends, which really weirds me out since my Mom has NEVER liked anyone I have ever been with). Manda asked her and Mom was like 'Lynard Skynard??? I've never heard him before!'
Ahahaha!!!
Anyway, they are out rocking out to Freebird while I am stuck here.
Every bit of the southern redneck in my soul is crying out to the southern rock gods right now (southern rock gods = Jesus, we are talking SOUTHERN here, and everyone knows Jesus would be a Skynard fan since he is a country boy at heart)

FUN!! Hope they have a good time.
My mother-in-law and I get along great! Always have. It was another situation where she didn't like any of his exes but loved me from day one! I lucked out for sure! She is awesome!
It's gotta be a little bittersweet seeing Skynard without Ronnie Van Zant though!

awesome! us Northerners love us some Skynard too....so happy they get along....my mil lives w/ us so I know how good a close relationship w/ "your baby's momma" can be...cuz he is literally always their baby too!
