I eat spoonable foods with my sons infant spoon. I would rather eat 100 tiny spoonfuls of my yogurt, applesauce, pudding, or oatmeal, than 20. Makes it last longer and stops me from wolfing it down lol.

LOL--does your son get mad you're using his spoon?

If I had a kid who had a spoon, I might try this.

  • When my sister, brother and I were little we used to fight over a spoon and fork that the handles were shaped mickey mouse and pluto. I had totally forgotten about it until my sister's baby shower, 6 months ago. My aunt had saved them from a garage sale my mother was having. She gave them to my sister for her shower. I thought that was the coolest gift. Those utensils brought back memories I didn't know I had. When I have my next child I am going to steal those from my sister. I probably won't steel them but I will beg for them. Maybe then I can use them too to loose weight.
    Great idea krystalmoore1986!
