Hello. I am new to this site and process. I am excited and ready to shed this weight. I have heard great things about this site and thus far, must say I am quite impressed with the features of the website and phone application. Basically, I started having an issue with weight after my second child almost 10yrs ago. I really can't blame it on having kids anymore
Over the years, I have tried several methods and found Weight Watchers to be best route. It taught me a great deal, the problem was I would do well for months and slowly slip away from the program. I am hoping to be able to stick to this. I would like to lose about 50 pounds, and really want it to happen...but in a healthy..and solid way. I do not believe in the whole no carb craze or anything else I consider unrealistic. I truly know the best way is watching what you eat, making smart choices, and good ole fashion exercise. I know these things and am commited to making it work for me. I look forward to everyones support, and giving support. Losing weight is constant challenge.

I am also new to this site and a big fan of Weight Watchers - also with the same tendency to slip away from the program! One of the most important things I learned at WW was that tracking my food/exercise made me accountable. I've recently decided to pursue my Master's degree and the monthly fee at WW was taking a bite out of my budget (especially when I wasn't going very often.) I'm hoping that this website will give me not only the accountability but also the connection to people with similar goals!0

So glad your on here. Maybe we can share low calorie options so that it doesn't become the same ole thing all the time. I find that's when I slip. But so far MFP has helped. I love the capability of looking up my food options before I eat. It helps me make better choices.0

I love the site. I love checking the information about what I want to eat before I actually eat it. In less than 24 hours it has steered me from making certain decisions and towards better...healthier decisions. We all need to meet our goals and go on a cruise. We should make that our reward for our hard work and dedication.:happy:0
