Uuuuuh, so I'm on a weekend trip and we went to the bar last night. I started with a rum and diet coke so I could be good, but honestly I thought it tasted like crap so I switched to my beloved long islands. My boyfriend says I had four, plus two apple shots which I cannot figure out how to log. But even without logging the shots, I went over by like 1200 calories yesterday (and I ate pretty well darnit).

The hotel has a gym so I had intended on working out today but seeing as how I was REALLY drunk last night, I am not feeling so hot today. Thanks to taking tylenol this morning I don't have a headache, but I do still feel slightly dizzy and a little nauseous. If I am going to work out I really need to do it now since once I take a shower I probably won't get a chance to later.......is it a good idea to work out when hung over? BTW, I am sticking to just light beer tonight!

I exercise regardless of how cruddy I feel the morning after. One evening I drank 7 (yes I know this is ridiculous and gross) of those very tall beer glass beers (miller lite).....believe me...I know I was going for broke....it was terrible but I still woke up and went to spin. I was sweating like a pig, but it was completely worth it. I've even had a couple after work and then gone to spin...yes I do love my spin classes but I think it's of value to sweat out all those toxins. It makes me feel better because I can get rid of all those empty calories too.

Whatever you decide make sure to drink plenty of water before after and during. You'll feel better once you drink some.

Grab a PowerAde Zero and down the whole thing, sweetie! Then make a sandwhich. Drink lots of water and you will be back on top by this afternoon! (I've had my fair share of hangovers....:noway: )
  • Believe it or not you'll probably feel better after your workout. Just drink lots of water and start out slow. You'' be amazed how sweating out the booze will help!!

Thanks for finding that....wow, lots of calories in that one little shot. But I guess when looking at the big picture that extra 100 didn't really matter since I went over so much anyway, haha.

Thanks everyone for urging me to go work out. I did and I feel much better, even most of my hangover symptoms are gone. I would never have guessed that working out would actually make me feel better. Lesson learned though, I am not drinking AT ALL tonight.....it will save me money too
