No idea how many calories I consumed, but had a lovely lunch

As the title says, had a lovely lunch out with my family. I knew it wasn't going to be possible to eat totally healthily, but didn't want to go too far off track IYKWIM?
So I had 2 olives and a mouthful of crusty bread; carpaccio of water buffalo with a hard-boiled partidge egg; braised rabbit with veg (artichokes, asparagus, carrots and borlotti beans) with a little dumpling, about an inch diameter (gave it's pair to my husband!); then I shared a pannacotta with mango with daughter; and had 1 small piece of fudge with black coffee.
So not brilliant, and am a bit guilty feeling about the pannacotta, but tbh it was soooooooooo nice I'm not going to feel bad for too long! And sorry, just HAD to share!
Back to the healthy life now though

I read that and now I am STARVING!
It sounds like you did just fine without going overboard. I'm glad you had a good time. Sometimes its nice to have a little break.0 -
Thanks. It was nice to have a change - have been very conscious about what I'm eating for some weeks now, and lost 10kg. So I really appreciated some treats today And the bit I'm really proud off is that in the past, a meal like this would have made me think "ooooh, I've missed this, let's enjoy a bit more time without thinking about what I'm eating" and all the old, bad habits would have drifted back. But this time, I think I really realise this was ONE MEAL, and yes life is too short not to enjoy a nice lunch out with husband daughter once in while, but life can't continue like that :happy:0
