Macronutrient Percentage (carbs/fat/protein)

For weightloss, is there a particular macronutrient percentage ratio I should follow? I was pretty much sedentary until recently, and although I do aerobics about 6-7 times a week, I can't change the fact that I have a desk job. There are a lot of variations when it comes to the carb/fat/protein ratio, and I could really use some suggestions. Right now, MFP has me at 55/20/25 (I think this is standard). Is this correct for me? Sometimes I feel like I'm eating too much carbs when following MFP's food diary suggestions! I need to lose weight first, and tone along the way--what should my ratio be?
