Working Out after Surgery...

I had all 4 wisdom teeth out, and then proceeded to get acetominophen poisoning (not fun--don't mess around with tylenol for real) so I've been out of the gym for a little over a week. I went back yesterday and ran 2 miles in my previous 5k time. Am I really that far behind? Or will it come back pretty fast?
How long did it take you to get back to your normal gym routine after having surgery?

I didn't have surgery myself, but was out this winter for a whole month because my daughter was hospitalized.. I didn't do anything for 30 days exercise-wise. Just before she got sick, I'd ran my first 30 minutes on C25K.. when I was able to get back to it, it took about three workouts to get back to where I was. I was surprised how quickly my body "remembered". All you have to do is keep at it, you'll be there in no time flat.0
