Since I started my journey here at MFP I watch not just how much I eat and count calories, but I am vigilant about WHAT I eat and I try my best to avoid GMO foods - if you don't know why that's important read this:

I do agree that people should take care in what the eat, but I'd also like to point out that is from a website of someone trying to sell something...

Thanks for this! I've been avoiding most of the ingredients listed already but it sure is hard to avoid them all. Have you heard of Master Your Metabolism by Jillian Michael s? It lists the preservatives to avoid and the Power foods you should be eating. My body and mood feel a whole lot better without the chemicals that are added to most pre-packaged foods.

HMMM I thought it was information packed without little teasers that make you want to buy something else - I get plenty of those emails from Prevention, fitbie, Women's Health, SElf etc. There is a link at the bottom to a non-profit organization NON Gmo project that has a free iphone app and free downloadable pdf's of brochures. They do say you can purchase them basically at a cost to cover printing if you want to do so to share with people. I didn't think it was a salesy type article at all.

Not saying it was specifically that article trying to sale something, but I was saying if you take a look at the website itself they do have a specific view point that they are trying to sell. Along with that view point they have tons of "products" you can buy to go with that view point.
