Hi all! I joined on this account on Saturday, but I'm not new to the site. I've been using it on and off for a few months without really being active, regular, or friendly! Basically a secret reclusive user that didn't really check-in my (highly unhealthy) entries for more than a few days consecutively.
I'm a 23 year old med student looking to lose some weight in a slow, healthy way! No yo yo-ing! I've been working out regularly for a while (YEARS), and I know I have a great, toned body in there somewhere... just under a few pesky pounds. In high school I was always slim and fit while eating a LOT because I was active and played sports. My friends made fun of me because I could eat whole pints of ice cream and entire DiGiorno's pizzas by myself! Hahah! When the sports ended, I still ate like I was working out for 3 hours a day, so the pounds creeped on slowly but steadily during the end of high school and beginning of college. I still was working out - but nothing compared to how much I was working out while in season.
In the past year I've lost a few pounds by just exercising more and not really changing my diet (I eat way too much processed foods, sugar, etc.) but now I'm trying to tweak the diet a little... more veggies and fruit, lean meats. I love to work out! That's always come really easily to me. The food/diet thing is hard! I love junk food and restaurants and ice cream and Chipotle! I don't like restricting myself because that results in binges! Instead, I want to add healthy foods into my diet and limit my splurges while not banning them completely. If I crave something for more than a few minutes - I eat it! Otherwise I will be thinking about it all day and will end up binging anyway!
Well - I'm new to this site so please add me as a friend! I love turbo kick, spinning, and hot yoga. I wish I was more of a runner, but really - not my thing! Anyway, thanks for the support - this site is amazing!

Haha! It's kind of a cycle where I use sugary foods to keep me alert when studying.. BAD. :noway:
Anyway, THANKS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT! You guys are so inspiring and amazing. Anyone that added me - I post really great inspirational quotes! So be ready. :flowerforyou:0 -
Feel free to add me too! Other than the "exercise comes easy to me" thing, you sound just like me when I was in college!
[I originally started out in pre-med too!] Good luck with your goals!!
