Dancing NSV

I've never posted before but I wanted to share:
I do not consider myself a good dancer. I've had minimal (but some) experience with dancing classes but have always felt a bit held back by my weight. I haven't felt like I can keep up with others in the past, so I would get caught up in how I look and how I'm falling behind instead of concentrating on the moves. That always left me feeling klutzy and inept.
Today, my fiancé and I took a waltz lesson. We are getting married in July and it is traditional in Sweden (where we live) for the couple to do a wedding waltz. Swedish children often take mandatory dance classes while growing up, but I am from the U.S. and have never tried ballroom dancing. My fiancé, who is Swedish, did take waltz classes in school but didn't remember how to do it. We were essentially beginners.
We've been working out more since having joined MFP and feeling better about pushing ourselves physically and trusting that our bodies can handle more activity. Today, we were able to focus on our dancing instead of our weights. It was a decent workout but nothing we couldn't handle. I am so proud of us!
My NSV is that we had a great dance class and I left feeling proud and capable. We did so well that our instructor said we set a record for being the quickest learners!
