Since I have torn my menscuis I haven't done any exercise AT ALL, I needs ideas on what to do Very specific please. I know water/swimming is good but what else can I do. I need to especially work on belly and strengthing core. I have never been an exerciser and was just really getting into it slowly. Thanks in advance!!

Unless your Ortho has cleared you for swimming, don't do it. When I tore my MCL, the only thing I was allowed to do was stationary cycling. I would suggest some of the seated workouts. I think you can find them on Youtube, exercise tv on demand, and NetFlix. Maybe some chair boxing, and upper body lifting. When do you start PT on the knee? It'll be a hell of a workout when you get there!0

The best thing would be to ask your doctor for specific exercises you can do- he/she knows exactly what medical issues you've got going on, and can direct you to the right path. Good luck!0

Got injection in it last Thursday ( quick fix to get thru my son's graduation and getting him off to college) I need surgery to repair. I missed the episode of Biggest Loser where Cara had Moses sitting to shadow box and can't seem to find it anywhere.0

Use a recombant bike (not straight up and down...it's easier on your knees)
Do crunches
simple stretches (think yoga but not too much twisting)0
