So i recently purchased this dvd and am curious who has tried it and what you think???
I am attempting to begin today but not too sure how it works since i havent popped it in yet.
I know there are 3 levels but do you do all three in the 30 days???
Do you literally do the dvd every single day for 30 days?

I really liked the 30DS. I did not do it everyday because I wanted to run more. I did not get totally shredded, but it did tone my legs and arms really well. I think you are suppossed to do it everyday, it just didn't work into what I had going on. Good luck.0

If you search the forum for "30 Day Shred" or "30DS" you will find hundreds of posts about this video, as it is a very popular workout here. The suggested sequence is 1 level every day for 10 days, allowing you to complete all three levels in 30 days. But, there are reasons to approach it differently. It depends on your current fitness level, your potential injuries, and your fitness goals.0

The nice thing about this dvd workout is that you can manipulate it to your liking. I did my first round for 30 days straight. Planned to do all those days at level 1, but got bored 1/2 way thru and switched to level 2. Then the next 30 days I was going to do 1/2 at 2 and 1/2 at 3, but ended up going to the gym more often and didn't do the shred every day. I JUST restarted another 30 day round yesterday and am doing all level 3 with a few modifications.
I had nice results with the first round. Lost inches and then pounds.
Good luck to you!0 -
Hi Angela
I'm currently on day 2 and I'm loving it. It is pretty popular work out on here so will definitely be interesting to see how everybody gets along. I would consider myself fit enough but this really kicks my *kitten*!! You basically do each level for 10 days each & I think the idea is to try and keep within the 30 days (or as close as). I'm finding it great for my arms, butt and legs however I'm not feeling it so much on my abs...however I'm sure come level 2 I'll be changing my tune!! :laugh:0 -
ive been doing this dvd for somethime now found it very hard to start with but as the weeks went on been lot better. I would def recommend it as it does work, although i havent got a six pack but dont expect it after 2 kids... its definatly toned the muscles in my arms and legs. try to do it every day for at least 3 to 4 weeks then drop down to 3 times a week. hope this helps.0

Level 2 is when I started feeling it in my abs.
I don't do it everyday - but the idea is to do it everyday - evidently it was designed as an everyday workout. I do it more every other day or every 3rd day even. I definitely feel it when I work out and its a great cardio workout as well. I highly recommend it. It isn't a "miracle" by any means, but I don't think anything is. This is a great combo cardio/strength workout though.0 -
My daughter and I just finished day 7 of the Shred; our first ever workout DVD. (I am reasonably fit. My daughter has never exercised and has a 50.2 BMI.) The 2nd day is rough due to soreness. My daughter is modifying the jumping jacks into something like "marching jacks" because she pulled a tendon in her calf the 2nd day. It gets easier by day 4, though it is still a workout. I already have more stamina than I did in the beginning, and she is doing better than she ever thought she would.
We chose to work out every day because she wants to complete the workout before her wedding next month. I understand that it isn't necessary, but gives the best results. There are 3 levels and to do the 30 day, you spend 10 days on each level. We haven't cheated to look at level 2...we want to be surprised together.0
