Honestly I say don't... Maybe just switch what your eating... How about carrots dipped in laughing cow cheese... You can have a ton... Feel full and be able to crunch something at the same time. It's actually good to eat every few hours just make sure you are getting the right amount of cals ;) best of luck! Oh and it's alwAys good to have some form of protein too... Helps you feel fuller ;)

Why not plan your afternoon snack into your schedule? Not need to stop, just make sure it's something that's both nutritious and satisfying.

That's about what time I have my afternoon snack. I just make sure whatever I eat is pre-portioned out.

I drink coffee around 3:00 and it holds me over until dinner. I've tried out different foods like protein and veggies but nothing else fills me up the way the coffee does.

I agree to this. I plan for an afternoon snack because I get hungry around that time (and it's also a time when there are a lot of sweet things around at my job and I want to stay on track.

2:00 is the witching hour.......I finally tried 35 cal bread w/a TBSP of peanut butter and a big glass of water. This is also a time that everyone around me is eating cookies and chips. If I have my pb special, I don't care what they are crunching.

Oh my lord this is my weak time too. It took me a while to figure out why I keep breaking down and eating candy at work towards the end of the day, and then attacking all carbs when I got home.
It was only today that I finally realized it was because my blood sugar was taking a nose dive after lunch. I tend to eat a lot of carbs during lunch because I don't like meat during the day. My new plan of attack is making sure I get plenty of protein at lunch, and then having super low calorie snacks around to munch on if I get the mental munchies. I've learned from experience that when I feel like I'm dying of exhaustion and hunger, it's almost impossible to stave off a binge. I'm hoping this way I'll stop it before it starts.
Hope this helps! Wish me luck
