Hey. I went from 144 to 126-127.5 (ranges). I was at 1200 calories but I have heard that now since i am close to my goal range weight I should switch it to lose .5 lb. When I do that it goes to 1360 and for me that is a huge jump. I could eat that but I want to move it lower, to more of something where I wont feel like I am going to gain weight. What would u all think of changing the calories, etc to . Thank you!

If you're really nervous, try upping your calories by 50 calories this week. Next week, up it by another 50 calories, and so on until you're at MFP's recommendation.

Hey! I was about the same... went from mid-140's to 128 and am still trying to lose. However, with more working out I was a lot hungrier. I upped my calories to 1350 at one point, and I have since then increased them to 1450. I have not gained anything (and to be honest i am usually going over my calories because i am really close to my goal weight and feel pretty good where i am).

Oh btw I am 5'6, female and workout 6 days a week at a moderate intensity. So i doubt increasing your cals to 1360 will make you gain anything!

    Hey!
When I upped my calories/decreased lbs per week I actually started losing again......I would try it for a week and see how it goes, your not gonna gain a ton of weight in one week. I was really nervous too but it worked for me :)
    Good Luck!!

Thank you all. I am going to increase to 1250 and may increase it again in a few days. I just started nannying full time and I am up earlier and want to see how it works out. Thanks!
