  • I think it depends on where you are carrying the weight. I am also short 5'2 and you can really tell I have lost 40 pounds. My friend is taller and she has lost 36 pounds and the only place you can really tell is her face. Dont be bummed. Keep trucking along and you will do fine!

Think about it this way... how do yur clothes fit? I bet you had to buy all new clothes due to them falling off you!? Did you keep a pair of your old pants? Put them on and really SEE the difference in your body.

I have a pair of pants that I wore the weekend before signing up. I have lost 22 pounds and with that pair of pants on, I walk across the room and they will almost fall off!!! I still have some hips there to hold them up, but they are super close to just dropping!?

Also think about measurements. Those will tell a story too

Look at how far you've come ... 40 pounds is a great accomplishment! Have you tried switching up your exercise? Talking to friends? Taking your measurements? How about making special plans to celebrate your next five pound loss? Don't worry about the pictures ... You are probably like most of us who are choosing to lose 100 or more. It's easier to be critical of ourself than celebrate the successes! Hang in there -you can do it!
