How do you deal with stress and emotions?!

Hi yall,
I am going thru a stressful situation and I read where stress can cause you to gain weight. I used to be an emotional water but at this point I'd rather not eat at all...so how do I deal with the eating and trying to get thru the stress without messing myself up? Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated....thanks guys.

    Working out is an excellent stress reliever for me. Getting into a long run outdoors, or taking out my frustrations while pumping iron.

    Surround yourself with friends/family that will support you and make you laugh. For me, if my spirits are boosted (even just a little bit) I'll snack on a little something.
    So, try to meet up with a good friend, have your favorite snack close by, and laugh about something. :)

    Also, ... be sure to talk about your stresses with a trusted friend. Talk it out. Hang in there. :) Don't let life take control of you. *You* are in control of you.
