He is right-BIG waste of money! I have tried quite a few different ones, and they don't work. What really works is exercise and consuming less calories that you expend.

A lot of the beauty and diet industry is, my opinion here, is geared toward making a person feel helpess against the "ravages" of time and our own perceived lack of willpower. Its a billion dollar industry.

We really need to empower ourselves through knowledge combined with ciritical thinking.

    Give yourself a try :flowerforyou:

I am a former user of hydroxy cut. It is a false hope quick fix! I swore I would never be like the "rest" of the world, able to lose weight on my own. I battled eating disorders and I took the pills so I wouldnt feel hungry. I know there are proper ways to use all otc meds, but I do not recommend using any aid for weight loss. I have been on this sight for a few months and honestly, logging the food and doing exercise has helped me lose more body fat than any of those "weight loss" aides ever did. I am keepin off the weight wereas before, I would lose five, gain five... weekly!! Very unhealthy for my body. Please, just have faith and be strong and stick witht he plan on MPF!!! It works!!!!

I tried this a few years back when I was trying to cut weight to get into the Marine Corps. From my experience it raised my heart rate and made me unable to sleep at night and did NOTHING for my weight loss. In boot camp (3 month period) I lost nearly 30lbs with just eating right and a lot of exercise (obviously  )

So yeah, I'm with everyone else on this one. You don't need it :flowerforyou:

Haven't you ever notice their commercials? All the people say they dropped weight really fast, but if you look at the time frame given in the commercial, it is the same time frame you can do it with eating right and exercise. I think it is all mental. You think it is helping you, but it really does nothing but make your heart beat faster. I tried all of those things, never noticed a difference.

Throw away the bottle! I has considered taking the stuff too... asked my medico about it, and told me that it was certain way of causing kidney problems. Especially with long term use. Just stick to MFP, and you'll be just ducky! :drinker:
