I just started MFP and I am trying to get familiar with the site. When I set up my profile I typed in my preferences that my exercise goals are 4 times/week and weight loss goal is 2 lbs. per week. Also, in my profile I stated my activity level was lightly active and it calculated a net calorie goal of 1200 calories per day. Now my question/concern is everyday when I add to the dairy should I AGAIN list the cardio and/or strength training I did? Or leave that blank because I already set up MFP to account for the exercise? I'm getting a deficit.

Yes, you should list your cardio and strength exercise every day! The profile is just asking how many days a week you want to work out. It doesn't know how many calories you are burning. Therefore, you need to add this to your diary everyday so you know what you are burning and what you should consume! Welcome to MFP and good luck on your journey!0
