Weekend Festival Panic!

I am going to a music festival this Saturday and I am already panicking that I will go completely over board on my calories.
It's an all day music even so a big group of us are going to be drinking from 12 - whenever.... so its not going to be pretty
I'm planning to do a short run in the morning and try to alternate alcoholic drinks with a soft drink, but I feel like I need to be more prepared for this.
We cannot bring food or drink in from outside so I'm wondering if anyone has been in the same situation and been able to stay (reasonably) on track?
Any advice is welcome!

alternate your alcoholic drinks with low-cal or no-cal soft drinks like diet coke or water0

Take some water in with you, you're usually allowed one bottle of unopened water, and try and alternate between alcohol and water, and maybe try and stick to low calorie drinks (I don't really drink much so not sure what kind of drinks they serve at festivals...)
Take some healthy cereal or protien bars with you for the morning. I don't know what festival you're going to, but I went to Leeds festival last year and there was soooo many food choices in the arena, included salads and vegetarian options so try and stick to these.
Remember though it's just one weekend and a few bad choices aren't going to hurt too much. Have fun!0 -
Been there before! If you cannot take in an unopened bottle of water, take an empty one and fill it up at the fountains (hopefully they have them, or if a vendor is nice enough to fill from their faucet). If they have the low cal beer, you can stick with those, or if you are a liquor person, clear liquors with seltzer (not tonic, it is high in calories) is the way to cut back. These are lessons I am still learning to make into habits. Good Luck and have a great time! :glasses:0

Take a bottle of water and cereal bars or nuts in case you need a healthy snack, I've never been strip searched going into a festival!0
