I've heard about a lot of these diet cleanse and diet cleanse pills...but do they work? If so, is there one you would recommend?

Thanks : )

I thought about doing one...but decided against it. You body cleanses itself naturally...and if you are eating clean, there is nothing to "flush". Just try to eat as clean and naturally as possible.

Personally, I think the best cleanse is some variation of vegetables (Salads or steamed, whatever) and lean meat, steering clear of sugar and dairy, (and enough water of course) for 3 to 5 days. Pills are often either hard on your system or really no benefit at all.

Just my opinion though. Best wishes! :flowerforyou:

Just up your fiber, that actually cleans you out better and safer than pills. If not, there are safer cleanses, like the fruit flush. The key to any cleanse is to eat clean afterwards. If you don't you will gain all the weight back in no time.

    Perhaps a detox instead?

I detoxed caffeine for 2 whole weeks a bout a month and a half back.
Some of the best sleep I have ever had.

    Wonder why I stopped.....

I am doing the Shakeology cleanse, which allows you to drink Shakeology 3 times a day and then a green salad with 4 ounces of protein for dinner. I am on Day 2 and it is only a 3 day cleanse. I do appreciate at that I am not eating artificial sugars and am still able to function. No headaches, not hungry between "meals" and I am already feeling better. I was having a problem with stomach aches/ nausea in the morning and I haven't had that so far in these past 2 days.....so I think it was definitely something that I was eating before.

I would steer clear of cleanse pills and GNC crap...trust me, they dont work lol Or you do have the option of detoxing from sugar, caffeine, bad fats, etc. Totally up to you, but any good cleanse needs to be followed by clean eating.

A natural cleanse, I find is the best, eat only natural foods, and take your vitamins, maybe visiting a Nautral Path is an option, she gave me a great cleanse.....I love it!
