Six pack abs by 30 :)

Hey everyone,
I signed up a few weeks ago. I started counting calories about six months ago when my metabolism hit another speed bump. For the past few weeks I've been trying out a routine where I eat a decent breakfast, light lunch and snacks, and a freebie dinner. I really love my dinners and wanted to see if I could get away with not limiting them! I also exercised almost daily. It doesn't seem to be working, though, in terms of helping me tone up. Oh well, I tried!
One of the bigger goals that I'm approaching is having a six pack by my 30th birthday. I'm 28 and my birthday is in August, so that's still a long way away, but I'd like to start now and experiment gradually until I settle on a routine that works, rather than make dramatic changes later down the line (which is likely to fail).
These past two weeks I exercised pretty religiously doing soccer & running, but it was a bit rough on the knees. I need to incorporate some other form of exercise. Fortunately today I am getting a stationary bike with a platform to hold a laptop. I work from home so that should be a good way to burn calories!
Anyway, so that's me. Would love to make some friends with similar goals. I'm not out to lose a lot of weight or make a dramatic change. I feel more like I'm fine-tuning my routine gradually as I get older, and it'd be great to connect with some people who are doing the same!
