I used to be an hour glass shape and now after 4 years, 3 kids and 75 pounds I'm losing everywhere but my belly. well, I am losing in my belly, just a hell of a lot less than in my limbs and face. As I get closer to my goal (normal weight) will this change? Like will my belly catch up? Or am I destined now to look like a diamond shape?

Cardio, cardio, cardio! That's the best way to lose belly fat, also find a good ab workout. Remember muscle burns fat.

You're not alone in this. I've lost several inches off of my hips and neck, but the waist... not so much.

Your belly will be the last thing to go. The reason for this is that we weren't always so blessed with this much food. In survival situations, your body uses the energy that's closest to your vital organs as a last resort. Therefore, the area covering your vital organs is the last to go.

I still continue to work on the belly area! It really is one of the hardest areas! Cardio is huge as many have said. Something else to think about is your nutrition! Look at that and think about what you are eating! Message me if you have any questions! :)

How I feel about progress in my belly varies from day to day. If I have back to back days full of crunches, push ups, planks and other toning exercises, I feel more hourglass shaped. I feel all bloaty around the middle if I've eaten a lot of fat, or even a lot of dairy the day before. Even in HS I was curvy, and I only weighed 115 # at graduation. Many years and one C section later, I'd kill to have my 18 year old body back. But these are the genes I inherited, so I try not to be too hard on myself.
