I just want to send out a big, sarcastic thank you to all the people who enjoy sampling cherries in grocery stores. Now, when I buy cherries, instead of a big bin from which I can select only the cherries that meet my high standards, I am stuck with pre-portioned bags. They sometimes even have SOFT cherries in them.

I hope you are very proud of yourselves. You have RUINED cherry season.

    wow...
    i am 54 years old, which means i've been buying cherries alot of years when they are in season... and i've never been able to pick out the ones i want from a big bin... they've always been in pre-packed boxes or bags...same as with grapes.

    those bags and boxes don't seem to stop anyone from sampling either btw *L*
