Hi, that is great good luck on that. How about your favorite song?
  • Which best showcases your talents? Go with that.

It doesn't really matter about the tempo. The judges will be looking for something that shows a decent range and some musicality. Up or slow is fine. Just choose what shows the most of what you can do.

Adele's Rolling in the Deep is still pretty popular. That's a fun one to sing and the trills are pretty easy but sound bad@$$. Good luck!

Omg you're totally going to rock it, Carrie!

I think I would go for slow and soulful.
I can't think of any suggestions though.
You did really good with "I will always love you" at Applebee's that time! hahahaha.
You might think I'm really lame, but sometimes I play music just to sing a long too (but I am usually really off key so I turn the music louder so I can't hear myself)...and lately I've been stuck on Katy Perry's "Thinking of You." It's just fun to sing.
Or "Only Hope" by Mandy Moore.
those are just the ones I like to belt out. they may not be your style though.

OMG I also LOVE to sing Celine Dion "It's All Coming Back to me Now." Definitely way above my level though.
I totally sang that at karaoke one time. It was hilarious.
