Okay I know you all have one. What do you do before you weigh in?
I only weigh myself in the mornings before I shower, totally naked and after I potty:blushing:

I weigh myself after my workouts (I weigh less then), in the least amount of clothing possible (usually undies since I'm in a locker room), and always after I potty too.
(And if the scale reads more then I want it to, I blame the weight on the undies!   )0 -
I do exactly that too.
However, I do weigh myself right before bed too, and I can predict where I will be in the morning. Usually I lose about 1.4lbs to 2.4 lbs overnight (generally right at 2 lbs though).0 -
First thing in the morning after potty, completly naked with little furry kitties helping. they don't understand why I look at it and kick it to the wall. They will sit on the scale just to hear the needle move.....:laugh:0

And how exactly do we lose weight over night, where does it go? that's why I don't weigh my self at night, because I know it will be more. Maybe I should just sleep all day0

I weigh myself Monday mornings, right after I wake up. I go to the bathroom first and make sure to lose all my clothes....I also get on the scale three separate times to make sure that its right0
-
I also do it first thing in the morning after a workout and a shower. I use to think it was cheating but probably is really the most accurate way to weigh yourself. Now if I could just lose some weight and gain some will power.
Heres to a good weigh in to all.0 -
I have been weighing in first thing on Saturday morning. I am usually wearing light clothing. I always potty first. Then I weigh in three times. Once to get it over with. A second to verify. The third time to let it sink in. I'm strange, I can't help it. :laugh:0

Same as everyone else, 1st thing sans clothing, after toilet.
Funny you say that about your cats.
The minute I brought my treadmill home and set it in the corner , they walked up on it and plopped down!
"Thanks for the cat bed, Mom....
:laugh:0 -
I usually coat myself in 3 pounds of Crisco (which I deduct) and blast the theme to the TV show Hill Street Blues from my radio when I jump on the scale. My friend Uri from Romania told me this is how all the stone cold Gs in Romania do it, so I figured I'd give it a try and it works for me,0

I weigh everyday, naked, after I potty and then again after my workout. That second weight is what I write down for the day.0

I have a digital scale so it takes a second to register, it feels like I am playing slot machine when I step on the scale.0

When I lived at home, I ran on my mom's treadmill in the morning. Sammo, our boxer-pit, would drop his squeaky toys on it while I was running....:laugh:0 -
I was pretty excited the first time I steped on the scale at our new house. There is carpet in the bathroom and I seem to weigh 20 pounds less on carpet than hard flooring. Then my husband burst my bubble and moved it to the kitchen:grumble:0

I weight every morning, I know they say not to but it works for me. I also get on the scales about 3 times to make sure too, also potty first.0

I actually weigh more after my workout....I guess it's the gallon of water I drink during :laugh:0 -

And how exactly do we lose weight over night, where does it go? that's why I don't weigh my self at night, because I know it will be more. Maybe I should just sleep all day
You lose weight because by breathing alone you lose at least one litre of water. Also, for me personally I pee at least 4 times, and I also have a morning bowl movement. So that's how I lose my weight.0 -

I wish I could have a morning BM. I just get one when ever they happen around. I'm pretty glad if I get one every other day.:grumble:0 -
I wish I never had to weigh in again! :grumble:
I am trying to weigh only 1 day a week. So I have promised myself friday is the day.
Now for confession....jumped right on this morning without even thinking! (wish I had not!)
So on thursday I am going to eat very low sodium, and then weigh in ONLY on friday morning..0 -
If I weighed my self after a shower I would probably weigh about 5 lbs more. I have such thick hair as it is it weighs alot more wet. I usually do the morning thing right after I go potty.0

Thursdays are my weigh-in day. I was just weighing in the morning and being done with it but lately, I have been weighing later too.....after my day gets started, workout etc. I drink a ton of water in that time and that with the workout helps to flush out any "retained" water...plus other things get a chance to get elliminated!!!
